“Yes, I’m fine.”

I was resilient.

it’s the thrill of the chase

My heart gets torn apart

when I know someone with a mental illness. I can help them what what I know in psychology. However it’s so hard to stay objective with friends, it’s terrifyingly difficult. Quite depressing actually, ironically enough.

Was it a Mirage

It was an experience equivalent to that of ecstasy. A city encircled with liberal thoughts and warm bodies. The twenty-somethings who inhabit this permissive oasis are simply, just ripe. Ready to go with what life hurdles their direction. Academic in nature, however sexually overindulgent. Minds matured to a point where reason overpowers emotion, creating an unexpected collision of wild animals upon twilight. My body danced through taxis while my mind engaged in and out and in and out of pensive disscusson. Boys became men and girls women. A high school senior road tripping through life will end here and become an exceptional, free-minded individual; perhaps a bisexual, as his reason will overpower sweeping stereotypes. The city that overturns young adults into progressive leaders. The city I was born to be a part of.
